Account FAQ

Signing in to iA apps is easier than ever thanks to our new iA Account system.

Originally, registering apps required a license key, which sometimes caused confusion and sign in issues.
Our goal is to make access easier by removing license keys, passwords, and anything else you would need to remember.

From now, signing in to supported iA apps is as easy as entering your email address, then entering the one-time code sent to your inbox.

Our support team is always happy to help when you cannot find answers on our website. You can reach out to us by email.
We take a break on weekends JST, but on weekdays we aim to reply within one to two business days.

Email Addresses

Do I need to sign in with the same email I used at purchase?

Yes. Only the email address used at purchase will unlock the app. If you enter a different email address, the app will launch in trial mode.

I changed my email address. How do I update it for sign in?

Please email
our support team with your account details so we can assist.

I lost access to the email address I used at purchase. What should I do?

We will need to complete a few verification steps to resolve this. Please email
our support team so we can assist you.

I think I have multiple iA Accounts, under different email addresses

If you’ve made purchases under different email addresses in the past this may be possible. It’s also possible to have created multiple Accounts if you registered for a trial under a different address.

If this is the case please email us so that we can look into it.

Sign In

How can I sign in if I am not connected to the internet?

Registration requires internet access for license verification. Please try to sign in once you are connected to the internet and have access to your email inbox.

How often will I need to sign in?

Apps periodically check registration in the background when an internet connection is available. If you regularly work with an internet connection, you should not need to sign in again.

If you have not connected to the internet for an extended period, you may be prompted to sign in again to revalidate your registration.

One-Time Codes

I did not receive my one-time code. What should I do?

Please check your inbox and your spam folder. If the code is not there, you can request a new one by pressing the Resend button.

How long is the one-time code valid?

One-time codes are valid for five minutes from the time they are issued. Please enter the code as soon as you receive it.

If more than five minutes have passed, request a new code using the Resend button.

Can I use the code more than once?

No. Each code can only be used once.

Account Dashboard

I purchased a product but don’t see it listed

Support for iA Account is still being rolled out our full range of iA products. If you’ve previously purchased an app in the App Store, or have purchased an iA Notebook you may not see these listed.

How do I update my personal information

If you need to change your email address or country please email out to our Support team so that we can assist.

How can I update my billing info

Keeping your billing information up to date ensures uninterrupted service for subscription products. You can manage this for any product by clicking the Manage button next to the listing in your dashboard.
